Our breath determines the quality of life.
It heightens sensitivity to what is going on around you.
If you are looking for that sharpening for hair-trigger efficiency, try this. It only takes 3-5 minutes. Short enough to excuse yourself to a private place (and even your cubicle) to recalibrate your state of mind when you are feeling blurred or about to “misbehave.”
Sit with your spine straight.
Mudra: Elbows bent, raise the hands up and in until they meet at the level of the heart a few inches from the body. Palms facing the body, place the palm of the right hand over the back of the left hand. The fingers of the left hand point toward the right and the fingers of the right hand point toward the left. Press the thumbtips together. The hands & forearms are parallel to the ground.
Drishti: Eyes are 9 parts closed, 1 part open.
Breath: Inhale deeply & hold for 10 seconds. Exhale completely & hold the breath out for 10 seconds. (The air must go all the way out on the exhale so that all the heart valves get equal pressure, and the brain and central nervous systems will trigger survival systems for a few seconds.)
Duration: Continue for 3-5 minutes. Concentrate powerfully on the breath.

Kundalini Yoga Quotes:
“I’d never felt anything like it; it was just an opening of energy and a feeling of such liberation.” -Marika Bethel, owner, Glowing House
