Learn about your Mind/Body type
The Petersons have been delighting audiences for decades with an entertaining and useful introduction to the ancient science of Ayurveda.
You will get a taste of self-pulse diagnosis and learn about their mind/body types and how these are affected by seasonal changes. You will also learn how to gently detoxify mind and body using daily routine and diet.
Ayurveda has been practiced in India for over 5,000 years. The word Ayurveda comes from two Sanskrit roots, Ayus meaning life and Veda meaning knowledge. During centuries of colonial rule Ayurvedic institutions declined and much of this knowledge of life became misunderstood or lost. In the 1980s Maharishi Mahesh Yogi, the founder of the Transcendental Meditation® program, began to revive this tradition, working with many of the vaidyas (Indian Ayurvedic physicians) to restore the understanding of the connection between our physiology and consciousness. Maharishi Ayurveda® healthcare programs focus on uncovering the body’s inner intelligence so that it can restore balance to mind, body, emotions and behavior.

8-week meditation series with Tricia Nolan
This session is currently in progress.
Interested in our next series? Email Jodh here.
This 8 week series uses mantra meditation, EFT (Tapping), gentle yoga and deep relaxation. These various tools have been used to help release unconscious thought patterns and emotions (which lead to unconscious behaviors) from our energy field, some of which have been suppressed since childhood. Life riddled with anxiety and fear can be overwhelming at times and these tools can help relieve such stressors. Adopting these practices on a regular basis can also help facilitate a more mindful perception of one's reality, bringing more peace and calm to your life.
The format of the class will include an in-depth experience of mantra meditation and EFT(Tapping) each week and then we will integrate the two together.
I absolutely love coming to the Sunday afternoon class! The class format is wonderful with a mix of poses, meditation, and deep relaxation. I think that Tricia is a very compassionate and caring teacher and I will definitely keep attending as long as you offer it. Thanks! --Anita
