Seetal Tej Kaur
KRI certified
Seetal Tej found Kundalini Yoga by accident one day when her life was in shambles and ending it felt like the best solution. The class opened her heart and filled her with a sense of connection and belonging like she found her home, finally. During several years of working to rebuild her life, diving deep into self-work through Health and Life coaching, which helped her identify her patterns, she was able to fully understand what she was really “hungry” for and where she wasn’t fully nourishing herself. She learned to identify what she needed and to either ask for it or provide it for herself. One item she was able to provide herself with was time. Time to go to Kundalini Yoga. Kundalini Yoga gave her a boost to keep going; it gave her a community even when she didn’t think she needed it. It helped her to shift her negative beliefs and gave her new tools to bring herself into balance. It helped to strengthen the parts of her that were worn out on the inside (nervous system, glandular system, and heart) so that she had the courage to strengthen her outside (physical body and external environment). Life began to brighten again. Seetal Tej, which means peaceful warrior, believes that anyone can accomplish any goal no matter how big the obstacle. The first principle in Warriorship is not being afraid of who you are: Chogyam Trungpa- Sacred Path of the Warrior. So give yourself, and that fear or obstacle, a big hug. --Seetal Tej |
