Side with your Self

We’re all clumsy at times, and can make silly mistakes.  How do we treat ourselves afterwards? Do we mull over how we could have done things differently, and consider all the possible scenarios in which the incident could have been avoided?  Do we take precious time out of Now in order to call ourselves stupid?

...Who’s side are we on?
Belittling and berating serves to weaken opponents and enemies.  If we ever belittle and berate ourselves, we are actively weakening ourselves, and are therefore actively fighting against ourselves.

...Who’s side are we on?

Don’t fight against yourself, Side with your Self.

You didn’t incarnate in your body in order to trash-talk it.  You don’t inhabit your mind in order to curse yourself. Your soul chose this body to uplift this body: Your soul chose this mind to uplift this mind.  When you side with your Self, you actively take care of your body, and actively care for your mind. To take care of your Self is to love your Self. To side with your Self is to love all aspects of yourself, not just your lovable aspects.  In loving all aspects of ourselves, we practice loving all aspects of humanity.
In being forgiving, gentle, and patient with ourselves, we practice gracing this planet with these virtues.  As we bless ourselves with forgiveness, gentleness, and patience, we allow the world to progress and heal in a loving manner.  We allow love to be primary principle of the new world order.

Fight the fight that’s right: side with your Self.

A Conscious Earth

Weeks ago, I began mapping out my ideal day-to-day schedule. As I envisioned and developed my perfect life, I began envisioning a perfect Earth.
                                              Here are my thoughts:
  • Every single action from every body turns up the purity, charity, and love on Earth.  All of our actions purify this planet.
  • The leaders of our countries are pure-hearted, and they have the highest intentions.  Their actions check back to morals.
  • Scientific efforts are pure-intentioned, and centered on bringing out the highest potential in each people - we analyze and utilize yogic sciences for the betterment of every one: We return to the plants for medicine and food.
  • No one thinks anybody is crazy.  The Buddha is seen and respected within all. That is, everyone sees the enlightened, liberated, all-knowing, yet completely playful undying energy within every one and thing.
  • The planet’s inhabitants are all on a schedule that serves the planet to the utmost: Meditating before sunrise in groups, with the highest healing intentions: we pool our mental powers to purify this planet to the utmost; making Earth a friendly place for anyone to visit.
  • Open, honest communication in all relationships and interactions.
  • Complete respect, the best possible understanding, the utmost love amongst people.
  • We bring out the highest potentials in one another, and out of this planet.
  • We serve the greater good with every last one of our actions.
  • We remember our superpowers by returning to our breath.
  • Education systems (pre-school to post-doctorate) show students how to miraculously heal using the powers of their hearts and minds.
  • Fairness: no one is left out, everyone is taken care of.
  • Clarity of mind, clarity of hearts
  • Infinite, ready, fearless sharing of love for all our brothers and sisters on this planet
  • Respect, respect, respect: boundaries and wishes honored.
  • Honoring the wisdom of our elders, honoring the innocence our youths.
  • Everyone has access to nourishing plants, grains, healthy water; and the right mind and bravery to consume what best balances us!
  • Animals are no longer subordinated nor killed for sport, food, clothing, or merchandise.
  • Animals are free, like the humans on earth.  We have no fear, and so neither do they - boundaries are respected and honored!
  • All beings are free to live the lives they wish to; All beings are endowed with the resources to realize their dreams to the fullest: With speed, power, joy, lightness, and ease.

Love is the Earth's primordial vibration, and none of us fear resounding it.  All eww-iness, all icky-ness is gone from our bodies, the Earth is pure and clean. No guilt, no shame, we share our light and truth, and peace resides.

    Kundalini Yoga Quotes:

“I’d never felt anything like it; it was just an opening of energy and a feeling of such liberation.” -Marika Bethel, owner, Glowing House

“Within the first ten minutes, I thought, ‘[kundalini yoga] is the best thing that’s ever happened to me,’” -Gabrielle Bernstein

"Kundalini Yoga is the crack cocaine of yoga; if Hatha is a mild weed high, Iyengar is a deep hash glow and Ashtanga is amphetamine, Kundalini Yoga blows the F*@&ing doors off." -Russell Brand
